If you do alot of driving , or if you always have to travel long distances, the contents of the original fuel tank are not very large. This fuel tank is 47.3 litres so will considerably increase the range. If you own a VW 1200, VW 1300 or VW 1500 Beetle from 8/1967 onwards, you can also fit this fuel tank, but it is necessary to fill up under the hood instead of through the original petrol filling point, you also cannot take the spare wheel with you. This fuel tank can be used not only on a Volkswagen Beetle or a Karmann Ghia, but also for many other creations such as Baja or Kit-Cars. This fuel tank uses a fuel cap with an inner cap, whereas in those years Volkswagen used a fuel cap with an outer cap. Check which fuel cap you have and, if necessary you can order the correct one.

Pallet Delivery Required

Items marked as above will require us to calculate a shipping price as they need to be shipped on a pallet. Dependent on where these are to be shipped to will effect the shipping price. Therefore we will create a quotation and send you a quote once we have a shipping price for the pallet.

Shipping to Europe

Since the UK has now left Europe,any orders placed from outside of the Uk a quote will be created, We will then email you back with the quote inc the shipping cost.

You will not be charged UK VAT on your order if you are outside of the UK – But local VAT & import duties/fees will be charged based on the country you ship to.

These will be due once your goods arrive in your country.
